From a San Francisco Nautical Estate, this antique wooden NEW BEDFORD WHALING SHIP KIT appears complete, with all hardware, masts, carved wooden hull and all papers.  There are 12 photos showing its details and condition.
This kit was made by Marine Model Co. of Halesite, L.I. New York.  The plans are extremely detailed, and the hull lines are signed by the drafter.  Copyright date on the plans is 1937.  The box measures 17 3/4" inches overall, and the carved wooden hull is 14 1/2" overall.
Box shows decades of garage storage, and the papers are complete, but a bit fragile.
