Automatic zooming works well. Just make sure to press zoom buttons firmly

Make sure the zoom buttons are fully depressed for smooth auto zooming. Manual zooming also available
The viewfinder is easy to film with and the meter readout works well and readings are accurate
The lens glass looks and performs superbly and is free of scratches. with no haze and no dust of any significance
The aperture adjusts to light precisely and the camera film results look sharp and have great character
The battery check light works as it should too when the button is pressed.
I have added a new foam door seal which keeps the batteries secured in their compartment.
Processed Super 8 film results look great and the lens shows great character with good contrast.
Cosmetically the camera looks in Mint condition with hardly a mark on the camera body at all.

A new type of 5x f/1.4 zoom lens was developed, with 13 elements in 11 groups to achieve both high performance and compactness. Macro shooting at both the wide-angle and telephoto ends was made possible. A self-timer mechanism was built into the camera to enable 10 seconds shooting with 10 seconds delay. The power source, using mere two AA batteries, was located on top of the camera, and the compact folding-type grip was folded to the bottom of the camera. This layout renewal achieved a body only 39 mm wide. The extensive use of plastic resulted in a light weight of 620 grams, including batteries, but it also had a high-grade black body.
