MCM teapot; red/orange glaze ball shaped. Japan.

Description

The teapot features a red/orange glaze. It has a long handle to hold with a spout from the side design with lid. It is in good condition with no chips/cracks. The lid has some water spots and a couple of small nicks in the red glaze that shows white underneath. Dirty in crevice of the lid. On the top opening edge to the bottom, there is a small glaze nick, not a chip, near the top. A pinhole near top edge of handle, a minute white spot. There is a white spot on side wall between spout and handle. Under handle near body, a large pinhole. Another pinhole on other side of ball shaped wall. The inside bottom; a mis glaze on bottom's interior. The inside is fairly clean. The red glaze exterior has surface dirt; needs cleaning. Sometimes the orange color seems inconsistent with the glaze; made that way. Bottom has shelf wear. A red Japan with logo mark or stamp. Measures 4.5" X 5.75" X 7". 2" opening in interior.
